IMPORTANT BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Anson Trust is governed by a Scheme approved by the Charity Commissioners in 2005 (link to Scheme) as amended by the Directors in October 2009 (link to amended text). The charitable company, the Arthur Anson Memorial Trust Limited, is the sole trustee of the charity and the Directors of the company therefore also act as trustees.

In 2007, the Directors wrote to Christopher Jessel, a senior charity lawyer, to establish what would happen to the Anson Field and our other assets should the Trust become insolvent or dissolved. A copy of our original letter and his reply can be found by clicking here.
