Anson Trust - Working for the community
Get involved

The Trust held an initial public exhibition on 12th October 2006. Over 300 people visited the exhibition and a wide range of comments and suggestions were received.
That was the beginning of a very long process. A public meeting was held on 15 October 2009 to update parishioners on the situation. A further public meeting was held on 17 March 2010 to discuss the future of the Anson Trust and to set out the options available to the Trust. The presentation demonstrated why the Trust had decided upon its chosen course and why the other options were either not viable or were far less practical and beneficial. The Marcham Community Group (MCG) also introduced themselves at the meeting. The Trust has co-operated fully with the MCG and believes that it can play an important role in the future of the provision of recreation and leisure in Marcham. Nevertheless the Trust remains committed to its chosen course of action as the most likely to bring about the improved facilities, which most villagers now agree are required. The Trust is keen to receive suggestions and ideas for the new Community building and the sports and leisure facilities to be provided. The Trust will also welcome active involvement from all in Marcham in taking the plans forward and realising them. So please contact the Trust with your suggestions, ideas and offers of help.
